Ten Years Alive on the Infinite Plain
The plucky iconoclastic arts space Issue Project Room is celebrating 10 years of existence with a two-month festival. This weekend there will be concerts by the cellist Charles Curtis, who performs two premieres by Christian Wolff and Eliane Radigue on Friday, and electronic soundscapes by Pitreleh and a new work by Tashi Wada for Mr. Curtis on Saturday. On Thursday the composer-guitarist Elliott Sharp presents solo improvisations ahead of sets by the percussionist Eli Keszler and the Mauritanian vocal duo Noura Mint Seymali and Jeiche Ould Chighaly. At 8 p.m., Issue Project Room, 22 Boerum Place, at Livingston Street, Downtown Brooklyn, (718) 330-0313, issueprojectroom.org; $15, $12 for members and students. (da Fonseca-Wollheim)
